The IDF Virtual Congress 2023 featured three dedicated streams offering the latest scientific advances in the management and prevention of diabetes complications affecting the cardiovascular system, eyes, kidneys, feet and nerves. A fourth stream focused on the impact of natural and man-made disasters on people living with diabetes and the long-term effects of Covid-19. All four streams included the experiences of people living with diabetes, which play a key role in understanding, managing and preventing diabetes complications. The opening day of the congress put a spotlight on the latest epidemiological and impact data on diabetes complications from the IDF Diabetes Atlas. Throughout the four days of high-level sessions, participants had ample opportunities to network with experts and colleagues through our virtual platform.
